Were you there? Our 5th Annual ArtWorks Benefit for Kids

Three weeks ago, you helped us to prove that Together, creative art works... making CAW's 5th Annual Benefit for Kids our most successful yet!  Together, we raised more than $500,000 to provide programs throughout the year. The work we do would not be possible without your vital support.

A great time was had by all.  Scroll down to view the photo album, event video, program journal, and other highlights from the event, including the story behind our new name and logo, which was unveiled at the event!

Manhattanville Mural Unveiling

Columbia University School of the Arts at Prentis Hall, 632 W. 125th Street

Creative Art Works (CAW) is proud to present the unveiling of the Manhattanville Mural, created by the teens of CAW's Public Art Youth Employment Program, a program employing New York City youth in the creation of high-quality public art that enriches their lives and communities.

For 10 weeks, 14 West Harlem youth, as members of Creative Art Works' After-School Youth Employment Program, in a partnership with the Columbia School of the Arts Office of Community Outreach and Education, have been hard at work painting a mural about the history of West Harlem and their experience as young residents of a neighborhood that is rapidly changing.

Please join us and other members of the community as we celebrate their achievement.
