First & Second Grade

PS 192 was a renewed CASA designation in fiscal year 2019 and is a longstanding CAW partner. Art Around the World I, mixed media curriculum for 2nd graders, was offered for 9 weeks during the fall from October – December. Classes were 90 minutes on Mondays and Tuesdays. Art Around the World Il, mixed medium curriculum for 1st graders, was offered in the spring semester from January through May. Classes were 90 minutes in length on Mondays and Tuesdays for 12 weeks.

All of CAW's CASA programs were led by CAW's professional Teaching Artists and Teaching Artist Assistants with the direction and oversight of CAW Program Director Daniel Bergman and with curriculum development and professional development support by Program Manager of Teaching and Learning Lance Paladino.

6th through 8th Grades

In the spring semester, students engaged in a Set Design program to create the backdrop and props for the school's production of "Legally Blonde, Jr." The set design classes met for 90 minutes on Tuesdays, January through April.
