Wendy joined CAW as Development Associate in late 2017. Her prior development experience includes working at Friends of Hudson River Park, the Child Center of New York, and the James Lenox House Association.
Wendy received her master’s degree in Nonprofit Management in 2012 from Columbia University, where she also spent 11 years as a program administrator at Columbia Law. Her transition to nonprofit arts administration draws on her passion for the arts and education and her extensive experience as a professional performing artist.
Highlights from Wendy’s musical career include appearances at Carnegie Hall as a concert soloist and several years as a member of the Metropolitan Opera’s extra chorus. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Wendy lives with her husband and son in Washington Heights. She enjoys singing in the High Holiday Choir of Temple Sinai of Bergen County New Jersey and dancing Argentine Tango with her husband.
