Laura Aucapina

Laura is currently studying at The City College of New York as an undergraduate student. She hopes to attain a degree in Biology and is interested in working in animal research. This is her first time working with CAW as a youth apprentice where she is creating an animation alongside her peers. Although her position at CAW is only for the summer, she has developed a new interest and appreciation for animation. While exploring several types of animations, Laura’s favorite was stop motion. On her freetime, she enjoys painting and sculpting. Laura also enjoys helping her community as she volunteered for a non profit organization, Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, where she helped deliver food to shelters.
