Ismael Bustelo

Ismael Bustelo is a 17-year-old filmmaker from the Bronx. He has valued expressing himself through his art. Bustelo believes that documentaries are the best platform to bring light to topics of social justice and reform, and has learned how to make films that do just that during his time with CAW. The idea of movements coming to fruition through art gives him hope for the future. The Public Art Youth Employment Program has made him hopeful for the future as well as helped him further his goal of becoming a filmmaker.
