Kelly Guo

Kelly Guo (18) is a recent graduate from Stuyvesant High School and will be attending Boston University in the fall studying visual arts and business. Born in NYC and raised in Brooklyn, Kelly has engaged in art practice from an early age. She partook in numerous activities in different fields during the past years ranging from Track & Field and bowling to tap dancing and songwriting. Though Kelly has leadership and working experience in general art and graphic design, this is the first time she has worked with CAW. The animated-storytelling experience will definitely be a great addition to her resume. In the past Kelly has created a platform for youths to advocate for social and environmental injustice through the arts. CAW coincidentally allows her to continue this pursuit of being an artistic activist. She hopes that the opportunities at CAW and in future endeavors will foster her into an artist that is multifaceted, creating work that is interdisciplinary.
