Mekhi Mcgowan

Mekhi Mcgowan is a Junior at Bedford Academy High School. His views on life are to respect each other and help each other out. He is very hardworking and intelligent.  What he likes about film is that you can use anything like images and words to convey a point of view.  Film is a way to express yourself like hobbies and certains messages about society.  What got him into film was movies about famous activists and people who stand for social justice.  What interests him the most about film is the different films one gets to watch and analyze.  Film is a fun topic and this program really got him into film even more.  His goal is to stop racial profiling in the criminal justice system.
