Taieba Khan

Taieba Khan is currently a 3rd year student at Nova Southeastern University. She is majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience and enrolled in the dual degree program for Osteopathic Medicine. As the president of the Interfaith and Spirituality Embassy at NSU, she enjoys learning about others and seeing things from new perspectives while also expressing herself in unique ways. In the past, she was an intern for the Queens Museum, where she studied the influence of art in politics around the world. Although it’s her first year as a Creative Art Works student employee, she’s always been fascinated with the possibility of using art as a form of therapy for both mental and physical health. Concepts within psychology and sociology can be conveyed through many mediums, with two of her favorites being art and film in the form of video games. She hopes that one day she can be a doctor that makes personal connections with her patients by understanding both their physical health and mental health needs. Through this experience, Taieba is thankful for meeting people that are not afraid to voice their opinions with class and creativity through the use of something as simple as a camera.
