Aaren Huang

Teaching Artist Assistant-in-Training

Aaren is a lifelong NYC resident, a recent graduate of Brooklyn College, and an aspiring educator. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science, he developed a deep interest in teaching others about the world around them. In addition to education, he is passionate about politics and urban infrastructure. An avid artist, Aaren also enjoys drawing in his spare time.

Before stepping into his current role as a teaching artist assistant-in-training, Aaren collaborated with CAW and others to create public murals, including “The Sun Will Rise Again” (2025) and “The Collective Dream” (2024). Through these projects, Aaren refined his artistic technique and built essential teamwork skills. While his interests in art and education were initially separate, he now sees how the two can be intertwined to create vibrant, engaging spaces for learning.
