About the Artist
Aaron Gambrell lives in Harlem and goes to Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology. This is Aaron’s second working experience as a dog walker for his neighbor. This is Aaron's first experience working with Creative Artworks.Aaron has always struggled with the vision of his art but this internship has really helped in conceptualizing and finding inspiration for the drawings that he does. Aaron first came to the internship to have an after school activity but it became more than that when he saw his skills beginning to improve. Aaron thinks that his TA Joey is such a good teacher he makes the work go by very smoothly and explains things very well. Aaron likes to read and play video games. Aaron’s enjoyment of story based things is what gives him motivation for his artwork because to him visuals really bring the story together and coming up with stories has always been a passion for Aaron.
