About the Artist
Melvin Vargas is a high school student at Chelsea CTE in Manhattan. He was born and raised in Brooklyn and still resides there today. This is his first job with Creative Art Works, and first job experience all around. He loves art in every possible format, especially music and animation and hopes to create something for many to enjoy and find inspiration from in the future. He has dabbled in making characters on his own but this is his first time going more in depth and fully realizing said characters. Melvin joined this program to try to improve and work more on his art and characters. As of right now. His favorite project has been studying lines of action and different shapes. After school, he likes to listen to different types of music and edit videos. He also has dipped his toe into a little bit of music producing. He wants to hone these skills to create something truly amazing for others.
