Patricio German Character Design Portfolio
About the Artist
Patricio German is a freshman at Fordham high school for the arts. He is currently attending as a visual arts major. Patricio German was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United states at the age of 6. This is his first ever job and before this he hadn’t had any work experience. Before entering this art program he attended the Harlem school of art program to make and design a comic book. When he first joined the CAW internship he was just excited about getting paid, but after joining he realized that he could learn a lot about character design. The best thing that he has learned in his internship so far has to be the perspective practice that they did for different angles of heads. Before this Patricio never thought about different perspectives in his characters, but now it’s something he pays close attention to. Patricio enjoyed his time in the internship very much, he enjoyed being around the friends that he made while there and the teacher was also very fun to work with. Patricio German also learned more about himself and what he enjoys doing. He learned that he liked drawing people a lot. During his free time he enjoys drawing and watching some sort of entertainment, whether it’s movies or shows as long as it keeps him entertained he’ll most likely watch. If other people were asked to describe him they would most likely say that he says what’s on his mind too often which 9/10 times gets him in some sort of trouble. Most of the time he thinks about what he’s gonna do next. He always has some sort of idea in mind.
