About the Artist
Born in Haiti and raised in New York, Edwinah Magloire is a freshman at Manhattan's Early College School for Advertising. Some, don’t ask who, say she was born an artist due to how strong her passion for drawing is. Yet, for the past two years, that love seemed to fade into the background. However, when Edwinah heard of this Character Design program, it seemed like a great opportunity to rekindle her once decade long old love. From lines of action, to gesture drawing, it seems like a whole new world filled with unfamiliar words and phrases. Albeit a bit intimidating, who’s first internship isn’t? For once in a long time she felt like picking up a pencil again and letting the passion, ablaze in her heart guide her hand, drifting through her sketchbook.

Final Character Design
As an infamous swindler, this feline teen is always getting herself into trouble with the law. From her nasty temper to her sly demeanor, It’s no wonder bad luck seems to follow her everywhere.
I'm very proud of myself for being able to finish everything and since the poses were the last task I needed to do, I decided to go all out on the creativity department. I regret nothing, although it required more from me, I genuinely had fun designing the clothes. Despite the different clothes she would wear in each pose, Jolly’s top and big puffy pants would always match.
