About the Artist

Jessica Chen is a sophomore at Bayside High School. This is her first time joining the Character Design internship with Creative Art Works and FunPlus. She has been drawing ever since she can remember. She took various art classes to find ways to improve her art. She chose to join this program as an opportunity to improve her art skills and to collaborate with other artists. She also joined to learn and understand the basics of character design, and to learn more about art. These opportunities to meet many professionals in different fields of art helped her to see other people's perspectives of art. She considers the program a chance to build her creativity along with finding her own art style.
