About the Artist

Kayla Cokley was born in Queens, New York, and is attending Bayside High School as a senior. She has had previous work experience as an Art Gallery Assistant in Queens Community College and volunteer work, encouraging disabled children. On their own time they draw cartoons, paint with acrylic, and grow plants, such as fruits, inside their room. In school, she takes part in extracurricular activities as a club secretary and helps produce the 2023 yearbook. As of now, they have started to take part in the Character Design program, continuing on with their passion to create cartoons.
