About the Artist
Kenn Gabriel Cataluna was born in the Philippines and came to the United States of America in 2012. He is currently a senior student in Information Technology High School. For the last 5 years, Kenn has been honing his skills in art during his free time, specifically making characters, fanarts, and landscapes. He chose to join this program to learn more factors to become a true artist, to be more creative, to be able to create a character with a background story, and to extend the range of his talent even further. So far in the program, Kenn was able to develop his own unique character and was able to perfect the character considering the critiques given from experienced artists. Even on a daily basis, he would draw and sketch improving upon another.
One of the two first concepts I had for Orion. I decided on the top concept because he had a graver, less playful appearance than the bottom concept. The bottom appeared to be more evil, but it doesn't go with the narrative I wrote
This is the finished illustration of my protagonist, assuming he is in a combative stance against Zeus.
