About the Artist
Yumi Lu is a junior currently attending Bayside High School. Ever since she was six years old, Yumi has been learning and developing her artist skills, fueled by her dream of becoming a character designer and her determination to improve. Although she has never had a job or been an intern before, Yumi has gained so much knowledge and experience while interning under CAW. From learning what it takes to create an effective character background through the guest artists to how to work collaboratively as a team to create a satisfactory final piece, Yumi knows that she will use these skills to create her own character for this program and also carry them with her in the future.
