About the Artist

Carl Delos Santos is currently a junior at City College Academy of the Arts. Art was always a fun hobby for Carl to do in his free time. Along with art, music has also been a fun hobby; he plays the piano, and is currently learning guitar. Previous to this internship, Carl has not had any experience with jobs related to art. Something that Carl has learned during his time in the internship would be the motivation characters have, and how they can be seen in real life. The motivations of a character may be exaggerated or may seem extreme, but those motivations have roots in the desires of someone living their life. This can help create a character that people can relate to.

When I began to make Ken I wanted to make him serious. I decided to change that later on to more of a goofy, friendly character. He just does whatever he wants while wandering the lands.
