About the Artist

Samantha Rodriguez is a 17-year-old born and raised in New York. She's a junior at Curtis High School and wishes to continue doing art in her free time while working to advocate for human rights, whether that’s becoming a social service worker or a lobbyist. She used to be in her school’s art club and is currently enrolled in her school’s visual art program where she creates art in many different mediums to add to her art portfolio. Samantha also loves to dance as she was in her school’s dance company. During her time with CAW, Samantha has learned many skills to help her with character creation and it’s been an outlet for her to express many ideas. She loves to express her talents to the world and is grateful to have taken this opportunity to grow her knowledge and experience in the world of art.
