Social Justice Posters
My poster portrays the bond between two sisters. Their affection is shown by them holding hands and it brings the feeling of “I will always have your back." My primary focus was not only to highlight their support for each other, but also to add secondary aspects and a fitting color scheme to represent the innocence that has brought by them.
This poster is meant to represent the cruelty that children face even in modern times. The slogan was meant to spread awareness on the seriousness of child labour issues and especially being a problem in third world countries. I used a primary image of an Indian boy who who works in a factory along with an secondary layer of a Child Labour protest, also taking place in India. The color scheme chosen was black and yellow, which I felt brings a bold and intense feeling to the poster, highlighting the overall seriousness of the message.
Inclusive Stock Photography
The Inclusive Stock Photography project was designed to address the scarcity of people of color, multicultural people, and LGBTQ+ people in commercial stock photography by creating professional-quality images of these underrepresented people in a variety of everyday settings, including romantic and platonic relationships, family, and communities.
