Isabella Kayle

Teaching Artist

Izzy is an interdisciplinary, multi-hyphenate artist and educator based in New York City. She holds an MA in art and technology from Oklahoma University and a BA in communication arts from Marymount Manhattan College. Since 2018, she has worked across diverse educational settings, helping students build skills, take creative risks, embrace collaboration, develop work they’re proud to share, and grow in confidence on and off the page.

Her personal creative work centers on voice—how we express identity, story, and truth through design, image-making, performance, and mixed-media communication. She is also the author of three books: a novel; a children’s chapter book that she also illustrated; and a full-color illustrated book on graffiti and street art that she wrote and illustrated. As both an artist and curator, Izzy has exhibited work in venues including Taittinger Gallery, the World Trade Center, the Kimmel Gallery, AfroPunk, the Federal Reserve Building, and the Ethical Culture Society of New York, among others.
