Social Justice Posters

Young lives are being taken due to violence. We must change this.

This poster represents that all love is love no matter what your sexuality is. My most important goal is to remind people that homophobia and violence against the LGBTQ+ community is not acceptable. I chose to add multiple flags in a collage format because there’s a flag for every sexuality — many people may not know that. The typeface I chose is big and bold like my message. When viewers see this, I want to send a positive message that no matter the sexuality it does change a person. Happiness lives through anything.

Inclusive Stock Photography

The Inclusive Stock Photography project was designed to address the scarcity of people of color, multicultural people, and LGBTQ+ people in commercial stock photography by creating professional-quality images of these underrepresented people in a variety of everyday settings, including romantic and platonic relationships, family, and communities. The images I’ve selected include a gay and lesbian artists circle on the Big Island of Hawaii, a barista of Dominican descent at a barista competition in Inwood, and three CAW youth apprentices at the unveiling of their mural at PAL Harlem Center.
