Fewer than 50% of NYC’s public schools offer the required arts programming that can make a real difference for children at risk. Very few families in Upper Manhattan communities are able to provide that programming on their own. Each year, we serve thousands of those young people through art — both in and out of school.

Participants come away loving art, loving learning, and realizing they’re not powerless but powerful beyond measure.

They use their belief in themselves to flourish and improve their lives - to test better, engage in their education, graduate high school, and get jobs.

They bring the power of public art to their communities and connect New York City’s diverse neighborhoods.
