Social Justice Posters

My first poster focuses on how hard immigrants have to work to put food on the table, pay rent, and deal with the many other challenges they must go through after leaving their country. I chose a slogan, "Women's work runs the world," because this is what we see in our everyday lives — the effort and sacrifice of women. I want people to realize how challenging the lives of immigrants can be and that they should always be respectful to these people. I haven't experienced this myself, but I can understand why it may be hard to go out every day and make money, especially if you have challenges to overcome such as not speaking english.

This poster's main objective is for teenagers and young adults to relate to the images on it and to stop being afraid or embarrassed of asking for help. I wanted to focus on a topic that nowadays some people don't want to talk about because they think they will be judged or laughed at. Mental health is one of the least discussed topics and yet one of the most important ones. I'm personally interested in this topic because I know some people have problems in their lives and they do not know how to cope with them. Asking for help could provide the tools that they need to solve their daily life issues.

Inclusive Stock Photography

The Inclusive Stock Photography project was designed to address the scarcity of people of color, multicultural people, and LGBTQ+ people in commercial stock photography by creating professional-quality images of these underrepresented people in a variety of everyday settings, including romantic and platonic relationships, family, and communities.
