Social Justice Posters

I chose a dark photo for my poster since my main point is that the American health care system usually prioritizes profit margins over of the lives of people that need a tool, a procedure or a medication to survive. The sand slipping through the fingers represents time running out for many patients even as the health care industry profits from them. I darkened the main photo to give add emotional depth to the poster.

The history of school segregation involves blatant racism, unequal opportunities, lack of resources, and economic inequality in underprivileged communities. Segregation affects not only the education a person will get, but also influences their chances of success later in life. I want there to be an acknowledgment and action taken to give equal academic opportunity to all communities.

Inclusive Stock Photography

The Inclusive Stock Photography project was designed to address the scarcity of people of color, multicultural people, and LGBTQ+ people in commercial stock photography by creating professional-quality images of these underrepresented people in a variety of everyday settings, including romantic and platonic relationships, family, and communities.
