Annalis Ramirez is a Non-Binary Afro-Latinx who was born and raised in the South Bronx. They are currently studying at SUNY Oswego as a Biology major and English minor, but diving into their love for art. As a first time CAW Apprentice, graphic design is a new playing field but not an unfamiliar one due to his experience in drawing and making characters in video games. Their most memorable part of working with CAW has to be the ability to take serious issues and portray them through digital art, in their distinct style. Annalis is constantly building their art form and design every day, while addressing serious topics that need justice. Annalis spends most of her time discovering new music, drawing, and daydreaming. He struggles with mental illness and tic disorder and tries to use their hobbies to bring out the most authentic form of themselves as possible. Their use of black-and-white contrasts along with alternative poster styles creates a strong cry for justice, while staying true to their gothic roots.
