Bette White
Bette White is an 18 year old rising senior at New Visions Charter High School in the Bronx who has a passion for basketball. She is planning on going to college to major in law enforcement or fashion design. At age 17 she developed an interest in photography and later explored graphic design which helped her to see the potential she never knew she had.
This is her first time working at CAW and hopes to continue expressing herself creatively. Her work in this program focuses on environmental justice and air pollution. She found an interest in this subject matter because these issues are negatively affecting her neighborhood in the Bronx. For this reason, she is making an effort to get the word out.
