Carlos Gagot
Carlos Gagot is an 18 year old from the Lower East Side. He doesn’t have much experience making art, but is excited to be working with CAW for the first time.The best part about Carlos’s summer job has been his new found appreciation for photography. This art form is something he didn’t know he would enjoy. Carlos has met a lot of new people and has made a good friend, Tiara. Because of his new work experience with CAW, he feels he now has more confidence to ask questions in front of others and can express himself creatively through graphic design, color and photos of his neighborhood. Carlos is now more connected with his community and understands why it has changed drastically. With all of these new acquired skills, he wants to push forward to produce positive change in his city.
