About the Artist
Justin Balbuena is a 18-year-old Dominican American in his senior year at the Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology. He developed a love for story telling through various means like DnD, video games, and podcasts. He even has high hopes to create his own story and become a wonderful dungeon master for his friends. These aren’t the only things he loves however, he actually has an incredible passion for coding. The challenge of making something from scratch is what he loves about it. Storytelling from scratch was never the issue for him, his issue was designing characters and anything to deal with art at all that wasn’t just tracing. Joining Creative Art Works has helped him to get over that initial embarrassment of drawing and putting his best effort even if he doesn’t like it at first.
