About the Artist
Valentina Cruz is a junior at Fordham High School for the Arts. She’s 17 years old, a visual art major and likes/has been involved in many activities that she enjoys. She loves illustrating, reading, swimming, Japan culture/styles, very much into cutesy things and a proud member of National Honors Society. One thing that’s for sure is that Valentina always wanted to improve her illustration and storytelling skills which is where she saw this internship as an opportunity to improve on those skills as next year she wants to start her project on making her first children’s book and publishing it. She hopes that this can be the start of her career in writing and illustration, as she’s very passionate and driven about this wanting to be her career and something she loves to do.
