About the Artist

Zina Mcghie is a 17 year old senior from The Bronx attending Manhattan Early College for Advertising and art has always been her lifeblood. She’s been drawing since elementary school, and when she isn’t drawing, she’s usually browsing social media, playing video games, or playing with one of her 6 cats. She’s always been looking to improve on her art skills, and when she heard that there was going to be a character design internship, she was hooked from the start. Apart from one or two commissions and some painting sales, she had never truly worked in a professional environment when it came to art, nor had anything resembling a job, so she jumped on the opportunity to do so. Her experience of the Creative Art Works Character Design Internship has been nothing short of beneficial, learning new drawing techniques and making new friends. She’s looking forward to the rewards this internship will give in terms of experience in the industry and hopes to use it to her advantage.
