About the Artist

Ashley Diaz Cenit lives in Washington Heights, NYC. She is a 9th grader who goes to Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology. She is 14 years old. She doesn’t really watch movies but her favorite movie is Home Alone. She loves shopping and it makes her happy. She does not play video games but she used to love this game called Fortnite. Her favorite sport is basketball. She has a little sister named Brianna and a big brother named Bryan which makes her the middle child. When she is bored, she likes to go on her phone and listen to music. Something she learned in Creative Art Works internship is lines of action, which basically means not making the character that you are drawing stand straight –they are supposed to be doing some type of movement. And she is taking art class in school that focuses on mixed media.
