About the Artist
This is Ja’Mya Lowe, a New Yorker from the Bronx and a Digital Design and Animation major in her senior year UAG. This is her 2nd year in CAW, but CAW was not her first introduction into art and design. She has been making character designs since she was in middle school but never had a real art teacher, until she joined highschool. In High School, Ja’Mya has worked in various art related jobs, internships and classes, which includes but is not limited to Summer Art institute at Temple College, SYEP with Etsy and Teen Curators at the Schomburg Museum. She learned that making a character isn’t about making perfect drawings every time, but should always try new things because she knows for sure that the design she ended with wasn’t her initial idea.

Final Character Design
Hi. My name is Zahran. I was a dedicated scientist of the Zebian people. I lived a long life of exploring while finding a great abundance of knowledge to fulfill my inquisitive research. Sadly, when my time was up, I gave my body to the Consciousness Preservation Labs for new life-changing tech. The CPL preserved my consciousness so that I can live forever doing research in universes that have never been seen before by the Zebian people. My only job is to make sure planets and animals from my planet spread across this galaxy. The only problem is, it won’t be easy starting from scratch especially when I don’t know what’s waiting for me when I arrive.
