About the Artist
Jason Bonifacio is a student at Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology who participates in a few clubs, such as Gamer Haven, Anime club, and Art club. He also volunteers for the school's library, helping organize books, and also cleaning a classroom afterschool. Jason does his best to stay laid-back and do all his work, whether it be at home or at school, even staying after school to fully finish work. Jason was interested in art ever since 7th grade, where he started drawing what he saw and took a liking to seeing others enjoy the art he made. From then on, he tried to improve his art skill with help from others and continued to draw. After hearing about the internship, he was interested in participating in it; Mainly because he saw an opportunity to improve his art and gain the joblike experience.
Within the internship, not only did he improve on his art, but he connected with new people and has built a bigger friend group. Now, Jason spends his time at home doing what he loves most like playing games, drawing from time to time, and spending time with friends. In the end, his dream is to create art and animations that will bring joy to people, which in turn will bring joy for him.
Sketch
Rain 2 is a specially modified robot with excessive human aspects to ensure there is no alienation. Rain's purpose in his own breaking world is to help find a cure to a virus started as a challenge by supposed Martians. Even though he has no guide he has a special connection with satellites specifically made for AI’s to quickly think of solutions and take time in seconds to run scenarios. Rain with all his capabilities should be able to deal with a simple virus, but this virus is ever-evolving. New solutions always need to be made, more work, and more samples. Because of this Rain 2 was made to be more of a scientist than a fighter, but with his connection to a satellite he has increasingly to almost infinite knowledge of techniques which even surprises him. Rain 2’s own goal is to save those he can and learn who and what he is, is he just a robot, or is he more than what meets the eye?
