About the Artist
Jayden Diaz was born in Manhattan, New York, and is a student at Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology. He doesn't have any experience in art, so this is his first time. He also hasn't had any other work experience prior to this internship. He joined this internship to learn more about drawing, more specifically drawing characters. During this internship, he has learned more about proportions and how they affect the emotions or feelings a character gives to the viewer. In his free time he likes to play video games, hang out with friends, watch tv shows and sometimes draw a little bit. When he graduates high school, he wants to follow a career in graphic design or in fashion design.
Sketch
My character’s name is C0R3. He came to be when a nuclear reactor core failed and exploded, but he didn’t come out for 50,000 years while all the radiation faded. When he came out, the world had been taken over by robots and AI. No humans existed anymore, just robots roaming the earth and solar system. But he doesn’t know who or what he is and lives everyday trying to find his purpose.
