About the Artist
JJ Marte is a senior from a small high school named Urban Assembly Gateway School Of Technology (UAG). This is their second year participating in this internship. Last year she created a portfolio of her story “Headshot.” They have been drawing since they were in sixth grade and still continue to do so. Something she learned about character design was that she had to go through many attempts of recreating the desired character to find the final product that fit best with her and the story. JJ learned that they were very passionate in their art and was always looking for ways to improve her anatomy.

Keynome is a robot that was created years ago to assist its master. Over the years they developed human emotions. This caused them to want to start living amongst the humans equally. Keynome goes to their owner’s niece Toa Inn to ask her for help first, because they believe she would be the most understanding. Toa gave them the name Leh instead of Keynome because that name is just a model type. Keynome ends up going to talk to their creator who disagrees with Leh’s action and tries to turn them off. They end up escaping and going to war!
