About the Artist

Lea lives in the Bronx and is a high school student at Urban Assembly Gateway school for Technology. The large male population at UAG does not intimidate her, and she doesn't really mind it. She loves E period, which in UAG is her art class. She likes this time frame because it is her time to relax and be free; She gets to draw instead of having to do a bunch of academic work to do. She heard of the character design internship program, and was elated to hear that she was accepted into the program and is getting paid to draw. Prior to joining this program, she does know some things about character design. Lea looks forward to pursuing work in her field of interests.
