About the Artist
Leonard Vargas is a self-taught traditional, and digital artist who has passion for the arts for more than 7+ years. He was born and raised in New York City Manhattan, and his heritage comes from the Dominican Republic. He is currently a Senior at the High School, Urban Assembly Gateway School for Technology (UAG). Leonard has been doing art for quite a while now, and tackled various types of art. Some of these include, Character Design, Animation, Illustration, Music, and Character Sprite Sheets for games. Previously, Leonard worked as an assistant around a school office during after school hours to help the employees organize papers, stamp files, and create copies for important documents. This experience built Leonard’s skills of collaboration, taking initiative, and organization skills.
Leonard has always been a creative artist by heart, and this internship sharpened his skills in the field even further. When it comes to how he draws, he focuses on the premise of action and dynamic perspective. Designs influencing action and combat are what makes his art pop out, and his proficient understanding of fundamentals solidifies these themes in his art work. Growing up, Leonard always watched Dragon Ball Z and The Amazing World of Gumball, which are shows known for their action and vibrant appearance, intriguing him and becoming influenced by them. These influences early on defined who Leonard was as an artist; someone who creatively tackles making designs and scenes where action is prompted in a vibrant and compelling manner.

Aishiteru Aiken is a 17-year-old mixed-Japanese assassin who is known in the organization he works at for his tremendous skills in getting things done and quickly. He was born and raised in San Francisco, and grew up in the east-mixed-west culture around there. Aishiteru wants to find the love of his life and to have a beautiful baby with that loved one, but struggles talking to women and doesn’t have much luck with them, he believes. SINS Rising, the international criminal organization he works for, is working on a big scheme involving family kidnappings. Aishiteru is assigned, along with his friends, to take down the head of the organization while Aishiteru hopes to find his true love.
