Jorge Victoriano Character Design Portfolio
About the Artist
Jorge Victoriano was born in New York in 2007. He went to P.S. 166 and I.S. 166 before currently attending Information Technology High School. Prior to this Character Design internship, he does not have any art related experiences, therefore this is his first time dabbling in the arts. Something Jorge has learned in this Character Design program is using line of action, a technique used when drawing your characters in motion. During his free time, he usually plays games or helps his parents do chores around the house. Jorge would like to learn many more new things with the program, such as how to draw better.
During the work in progress I thought of making the character with long hair and was thinking of what colors I should use. Originally I did not know why my character's pants were designed like that but then I decided it was going to help Akira with mobility.
Akira is a very determined man and his goal is to eliminate a villain. His abilities are quick reaction time and very strong body. When Akira is in battle, he always takes his fight seriously and he is determined to win. I feel like the face worked out with the word “determined”.
