About the Artist

Tiamarie Perez is a Filipino-American born in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey. She moved to New York in 2016 and has been pursuing art professionally for over 5 years as a freelancer. She is a student at Bayside High School in NYC and will be graduating in 2024. From this experience, she grew a deeper understanding of the art world; as well as garnered knowledge of the challenges she will have to face in the future to pursue her career as a graphic novel artist.
