Katherine Gordillo Character Design

About the Artist

Katherine Gordillo is a 16-year-old that was raised in Queens, New York, yet - has recently moved to upstate New York. Even with the sudden shift in her environment, she strives to motivate herself in participating in the Creative Art Works program. Previously, Katherine has participated in pre-college programs involving character design and script writing, which tremendously aided her during the CAW internship. Although she had the basics down, this was her first experience with CAW and they taught her how to deepen her skills. The teaching artist also provided amazing resources for everyone to explore during open studio hours and on their own time.
