Maggie Lin Character Design

About the Artist

Maggie Lin is a 17-year-old upcoming senior at Bayside High School. The first time Maggie discovered that her interest would be art was when she was 6 years old. In the two art classes that she attended, at the age of 11, she learned how to paint and sketch. She has always wanted to create something unique after being inspired by the drama, “The Untamed,” directed by Steve Cheng Wai Man. When participating in the Creative Art Works Character Design Internship, she was given the opportunity to design her own artwork and build on her creativity along with critical thinking skills.

Character Design: Song Yu Xuan (宋雨轩)

Work in Progress

Song Yu Xuan (宋雨轩) is the adopted child of the Yuan family. Even though she is extremely intelligent, she has low self esteem. This is one of the reasons why she started practicing black magic.

Final Art

I have some of her hairs sticking out and tied up like other males in the story. This shows that looks aren’t important - she focuses more on her training instead.
