About the Artist
Nikita Shadurski
Nikita Shadurski is in his fourth year at a high school at the Academy for Software Engineering. He has no previous art experience, but he is willing to learn how to express himself in a new way. During Nikita’s 2019 summer break, he was working in a public art youth employment program with Creative Art Works. Now he is finishing another program with Creative Art Works. One thing that I learned about character design is that it helps show that art is important to people and to offer a way for people to express themselves in a way that is easiest for them to show.

My character’s name is Justin - he is very smart and also good with technology. He likes to build custom PCs for students and teachers.

I decided to make my artistic style simple, since sometimes it is harder for people to understand more complex art.
