Madyson Rodriguez
Madyson Rodriguez is a 17-year-old Dominican, born in New York City and currently attending Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health & Science Charter School. Madyson plans on going to college after high school, to major in Business Marketing. This is her first time working for CAW. Madyson’s experience working with CAW was fun, she learned about Graphic Design. This is not Madyson’s first time making art. She also has worked on paintings on canvas, drawing, upcycling clothes, and fashion design. She uses her art skills to connect with her Great-Grandmother who has been designing clothes all her life to survive and put food on the table for her children. Madyson also finds inspiration from her experience working in after-school programs. She creates art because it provides an escape from reality and a different perspective on life. Art has helped her find her true self.
